Ultra Warp

i heard this song on the radio the other day by an 80's band called 'laser cowboys'. they apparently did a remix of the theme song for the american series 'knight rider'. anyway, when i heard the dj back-announce that the song was a remix from a movie made before i was born, i thought 'aha' - something 'old' and intriguing as opposed to 'uber new' and intriguing .. yes peeps, i find more fascination in retro music than ever before!

the movie - a gun-slinging fusion of robot cowboys starring yul brynner and charles brolin made in 1973; the song - a 1984 italian electro dance track remixed with snippets from the film. maybe it was the harmonica sample that got me or the damn electro synth pop beats that i love so much in general. either way, i'll be getting the flick out for sure, but in the meantime, check this clip out for yourself - fascinating i thought ..
